Joanne Chase, mosaic artist

"Light on a Northbound Train"
about the mosaic artist I've been making mosaics since 1999 and love to work rather tightly in vitreous glass and unglazed porcelain. Color is my starting point most often. I love to create mosaics that people live with and on; functional art for homes and gardens.
about the mosaic art project This piece is a celebration of the creative compass in my life...of heading in the direction of one's dreams.
Hakatai mosaic tile selected This is made entirely with vitreous glass, my most commonly used material, including Hakatai's wonderful peach tones and bright yellows, reds, and oranges.
why Hakatai "When I first started to make mosaics, I got every color Hakatai had to offer and I was hooked. I have consistently had great service and support from Hakatai over the years."
